The test match between Salzburg and Sofia in Anif had to be stopped prematurely. A fan fell headlong from the stands onto the pitch and had to be picked up by the rescue helicopter.
The Bulls were 2-1 up at that point thanks to goals from Simic and Adamu. The accident happened in the 70th minute. For unknown reasons, the fan fell about four meters down onto the field. The game was immediately interrupted and then abandoned. The fan suffered serious head injuries and was flown to the Salzburg state hospital by helicopter.
