One of the main criticisms that could be leveled at the release of Demon Slayer: Kimetsu no Yaiba – The Hinokami Chronicles, it was his rather weak roster, which was sorely lacking in characters. Yes CyberConnect2 has since released six free characters, including the first playable demons, the cast is still quite weak, but as you might expect, it was to better sell paid DLCs afterwards.
The Pillar of Sound prepares its arrival
We therefore learn via Gematsu that paid DLC including additional characters will soon arrive in the game. These characters will be those who are highlighted during the arc of the Pleasure Quarter, namely:
- Tengen Uzui
- Daki
- Gyutaro
- Nezuko Kamado (Awakened Form)
- Tanjiro Kamado (Pleasure Quarter Arc)
- Zenitsu Agatsuma (Pleasure Quarter Arc)
- Inosuke Hashibira (Pleasure Quarter Arc)
In short, only three real new new characters, since the other four will just be entitled to a different moveset (at best), and perhaps a new costume for the three boys (when they are made up as girls, no doubt ).
Fans will still be delighted to see Tengen Uzui land in the game, as well as the two demons Daki and Gyutaro. These characters will be available later this summer.
