Demon Slayer takes us to a Taishō-era Japan, where man-eating demons lurk in the woods. Since the death of his father, young Tanjiro has supported his family. A quiet life, yet turned upside down the day the teenager finds his loved ones massacred, with the only survivor, his little sister Nezuko, transformed into a demon. To his surprise, it still shows signs of human emotions and thoughts. Thus begins Tanjiro’s quest: to become a slayer and save his sister.
Multi-awarded both for its animated and printed version, Demon Slayer has become one of the shônen references of the new manga generation, with a circulation of more than 150 million copies and two first seasons acclaimed by the public. With its ultra-qualitative animation signed ufotable and its endearing characters, the anime has built up a real community to the point of being voted best series at the 2020 Crunchyroll Awards.
