Dendro element leaks in Genshin Impact

Dendro is finally coming to Genshin Impact as a playable item after almost two long years of waiting, with leaks aplenty about how it works. Dataminers have uncovered details about his reactions, but he won’t be compatible with all items.

Dendro is the seventh element in the Genshin Impact universe, and the most mysterious to players. While all adventurers understand how the other six elements work together, the plant element is harder to grasp.

Fortunately, more and more information is being published about the possible inclusion of Dendro after the release of Sumeru in version 3.0.

Additionally, dataminers have uncovered information about how Dendro will work with some of the other elements of Genshin Impact. However, for those hoping for reactions with the other six, prepare to be disappointed.

The date of addition of the Dendro element is still unknown at this time.

So far, leaks have confirmed three elemental reactions with Dendro. Pyro’s Scorch has been present in the game since launch, and the Dendro Slimes will occasionally provoke it when you duel them with a Pyro ally.

“Intensified” and “Overgrown” are the two new ones, according to Genshin Intel. Intensified works with Electro, dropping a particle and increasing an affected enemy’s Dendro and Electro damage for seven seconds.

Overgrown combines Dendro and Hydro. By reacting the two elements, mushrooms will spawn and explode when powered by Hydro abilities, dealing Dendro damage in a small area. The exact extent of the damage and the size of the beam have not been revealed.

These three Dendro reactions are the only ones expected. Dataminers have stated that the Seventh Element will not react with Cryo, Anemo, or Geo.

But take these leaks with a grain of salt: nothing is confirmed until HoYoverse says so.

While speculation is rife about when the first character Dendro will be added to Genshin Impact, as well as when Sumeru will launch.
