Denim pencil skirt: the best of both worlds
Why was the denim mini skirt pushed out of the trend podium by its longer sibling in 2021? It’s clear: the pencil skirt looks more grown-up, more elegant and yet at the same time cooler. It emphasizes our curves perfectly and through length and slit we can also determine the degree of sexiness very precisely. And compared to the classic pencil skirt, the models made of denim naturally look less stuffy, but more casual and fresher. Also great: Less tight models with more 70s flair.
If you like, you can even wear denim skirts with a swinging calf length.

This is how it is combined
The nice thing: you can only do everything right with it! The denim skirt looks cool in all combinations. A trendy basic look, which Scandi girls also love, is achieved when you combine a simple statement shirt and white sneakers with an it-piece. It becomes elegant with a blouse (how about accentuated sleeves?) And knee-high boots, the height of which can only be guessed through the slit in the skirt.
But the denim skirt can also be easily integrated into the business look: it takes the austerity of the outfit consisting of a power blazer, pointed pumps or stilettos, similar to our beloved mom jeans.
How about double denim?
And if you want to venture into the full power trends, you can rely on double denim: that is, a denim shirt tucked into the skirt or loosely knotted so that a piece of the stomach flashes out. Well, who doesn’t remember the iconic look of Britney Spears and Justin Timberlake?
With so many possible combinations, it’s no wonder that the denim pencil skirt has already become one of our favorite items in our wardrobe.
