She is celebrating her 60th career in 2024. Denise Fabre has the honor of being highlighted for a whole week on the Melody channel, which is devoting three evening events to her. A consecration for the most famous announcer in France, former partner of Garcimore, who is a bit part of the family of all French people: “It makes me very happy because these were very beautiful years and they evoke many happy memories for me.”she emphasizes in the columns of the magazine Pocket TV. “When I started, I was only 19 years old and my head was full of dreams.” Obviously, the host has since founded her own clan.
Former wife of director Jean-Paul Carrère, Denise Fabre has been married since 1978 to chef Francis Vandenhende. They had together two twin daughters, Olivia and Elodie, who were born in 1980. “I am very proud of them”, explains the presenter. “I could never have dreamed of having such wonderful daughters. I am also very happy with the men they chose. And I have four grandchildren that I spend a lot of time with. We are very united. Today, I am making up for it because I gave a lot to my profession.“

When she gave birth to her twin daughters in 1980, she chose Michel Drucker to be the godfather of one of her daughters and Evelyne Dhéliat for being the godmother of the other. When she crossed paths with Francis Vandenhende, she quickly understood that it was with him that she would find the stability she dreamed of: “My husband comes from a very close-knit family, with parents who went so far as to celebrate their diamond wedding anniversary.”she recalls. “As for me, my mother and father separated when I was little when I was 10 years old. I lived with my mother and she protected me a lot. So I think I needed to recreate with him a cocoon.“Mission accomplished!
