Depp process: Amber Heard's sister allegedly lied

The stirring process in which Johnny Depp and Amber Heard accuse each other of domestic violence continues.

New twist in Johnny Depp's (57, "Pirates of the Caribbean") lawsuit against an English newspaper that has degenerated into another war of roses against his former wife Amber Heard (34): Depp's lawyer is said to have submitted a video that is said to be a violent attack Heards on her sister Whitney Henriquez. The British "Guardian" reports. The clip was leaked anonymously to the actor's website on Thursday evening via email.

Henriquez had previously testified in court that she had never been attacked by the actress. Depp's lawyer subsequently claimed on Friday that Heard's sister had falsified the evidence in favor of the 34-year-old. The video is therefore intended to prove that the actress has not only become violent towards Depp in the past.

A "critical" witness

The lawyer then described Whitney Heard's reliability as a witness as "critical", according to the report. In her testimony, the actress' sister also stated, among other things, that she had seen Depp supposedly hit his ex-wife "really hard on the head". Heard is said to have only become palpable once – because she wanted to help Henriquez, who had been grabbed by Depp in an incident in March 2015.

Heard and Depp accuse each other of domestic violence. The Hollywood star does not conduct the lawsuit against his ex-wife, but against the British tabloid "The Sun", which had dubbed him "woman beater". Depp's long-time partner Vanessa Paradis (47), with whom he has two children, and Winona Ryder (48), with whom the actor was engaged in the early 1990s, confirmed that Depp had not become violent in their relationships. The process is expected to end in the coming week.

Amber Heard and Johnny Depp got married in February 2015, and in May 2016 it was announced that the actress had filed for divorce. The former couple have no children together.
