“Der Bergdoktor” returns earlier than expected: the new episodes from season 16 will start on ZDF on December 29th.
Originally, fans of Dr. Martin Gruber (Hans Sigl, 53) expects that, as usual, new episodes of “Der Bergdoktor” will not start until next year. As ZDF has now announced in a press release, the new 16th season will continue on December 29th. One of a total of eight new episodes appears on ZDF every Thursday at 8:15 p.m. In the ZDF media library, the premiere of the 16th edition can even be streamed on December 22 – and thus before Christmas.
Can Dr. Gruber the loss of his fiancee Anne?
The finale of season 15 was not easy for the Bergdoktor: his fiancée Anne (Ines Lutz, 39) left him, and ex-girlfriend Franziska (Simone Hanselmann, 42) also moved to New York with their son Johann. For the new episodes, ZDF is not only promising “medically complicated cases”.
With Caro (Barbara Lanz, 39) and Rolf Pfluger (Wolfram Berger, 77), the sister and father of Hans’ deceased wife also appear – and have a long-kept secret in their luggage. Martin’s brother Hans (Heiko Ruprecht, 50) is facing difficult financial times.
