“Der Bergdoktor” frees up the evening slot for “Der Schwarm”.

“Der Bergdoktor” recently ended with a season finale that was in no way inferior to the previous episodes in terms of drama: The Gruber family seems divided, Martin (Hans Sigl, 53) could only be prevented from his emigration plan because his mother Lisbeth (Monika Baumgartner, 71) fell into a coma. The once carefree life of Martin Gruber, which went so well with the series’ perfect mountain panorama, is in ruins and the upcoming 17th season will probably deal with how the whole thing can be repaired.

Until then, however, a new series must take over the slot from “Der Bergdoktor” – and the signs are good for ZDF that the planned one will be a worthy replacement: Because “Der Schwarm” – the first three episodes of which are already being streamed in the media library can – according to ZDF information compared to the industry magazine “DWDL” could already show more than 700,000 views in the first 36 hours. According to the broadcaster, a new series project in the media library has never started so successfully.

“The Swarm” is based on the bestseller of the same name by Frank Schätzing, 65, and consists of eight episodes, which will be broadcast in double episodes every evening of the week starting Monday, March 6th. The finale then comes on the day that is actually reserved for “Der Bergdoktor”, namely on Thursday, March 9th. Opinions about the quality of “Der Schwarm” vary widely – if you want to see for yourself, you can either tune in on Monday at 8:15 p.m. or watch the episodes in advance in the ZDF media library.

“In all friendship”: The question of the father of Sarah’s child has been clarified once and for all

“In all friendship” broadcast an emotional episode for the fans on Tuesday, February 28: Sarah Marquardt (Alexa Maria Surholt, 55) suffers a fainting spell, the origin of which later surprises not only her: the 52-year-old is pregnant! A message that Sarah reacts to with a roller coaster ride of emotions – can she really become a mother again at her age? Does a child even have a place in your life? Even if the episode may not have a happy ending, the fans were mostly enthusiastic about the emotional story, which mainly focused on the close friendship between Sarah and Dr. Rolf Kaminski (Udo Schenk, 69) shows. He stands by her when she finds out she has an ectopic pregnancy and it is he who is in the operating room when complications arise and Sarah is sterilized.

But despite all the enthusiasm, a burning question remains unanswered for most fans even after the end of the episode: who was actually the father of Sarah’s child? In the meantime, the actress has reported herself on Instagram – and apparently the child’s father is a shameful topic for her character. As Surholt writes, “That one-night stand was her fault – don’t tell anyone, she’s already ashamed.” And who is the father? Carsten Wiebold (André Röhner, 46). Fans remember: Carsten is the administrative director of a large Dresden clinic and was admitted to the Sachsenklinik a few episodes ago with severe abdominal pain. He was particularly negative because he sexually molested Jasmine (Leslie-Vanessa Lill, 29). “As Sarah admitted, she has bad taste in men,” the actress continues to write about her character – which Sarah more than proved by choosing her one-night stand.

“Storm of Love”: The death of Eleni’s sister casts dark shadows over their relationship

“Storm of Love” fans must be prepared for a tragic serial death that may have dire consequences for the still young love between Eleni (Dorothée Neff, 35) and Leander (Marcel Zuschlag, 30). Because in the next few weeks, the Schwarzbach family will be visited by their baby Veronika “Vroni” Schwarzbach (Selina Weseloh). Her appearance ensures that the family gets closer again after a lot of quarrels – there is even a harmonious family celebration, which seemed unthinkable a short time ago due to the separation of the heads of the family Alexandra (Daniela Kiefer, 49) and Markus (Timo Ben Schöfer, 58). .

But the joy is short-lived: On a trip with Valentina (Aylin Ravanyar, 26) there is an accident with serious consequences: Vroni is injured so badly that she ultimately dies as a result. Valentina blames herself enormously and Leander also gets into a serious professional crisis – after all, he was Vroni’s doctor, whom mother Alexandra now blames for her daughter’s death. Eleni is still trying to bring her mother to reason and stands protectively in front of her boyfriend – but without success: Alexandra is determined to take revenge on Leander. The next few weeks will show what that means for the dream couple of the current “Storm of Love” season.

“Der Bergdoktor” actress Monika Baumgartner: “I asked myself if my character died in a serial death”

“Der Bergdoktor” Season 16 will probably be remembered for a long time by many fans as the most dramatic season to date: The dispute between Martin (Hans Sigl, 53) and his brother Hans (Heiko Ruprecht, 50) became so acute over the last few episodes admits that he threatens to divide the entire Gruber family. The viewers can also be forgiven for seeing the veteran Monika Baumgartner, 71, die in her role as Lisbeth Gruber, the matriarch of the family, as a serial death – even the actress is unsure about the whereabouts of her character.

Because in the season finale, Lisbeth suffers a dizzy spell and even falls into a coma! The fact that her health was deteriorating so much was the “valid reason” necessary to stop Martin from emigrating to New York, as the actress explains in an interview with “TV Spielfilm”. “If Lisbeth is doing badly, then he has to stay. The other way around, the series would be over.” However, not even Baumgartner knows how her role will continue. “I asked myself if my character died serial death.” How season 17 will continue and, above all, what will happen to Lisbeth – the actress is just as excited about that as the fans are.

“Storm of Love” will soon be available without André Konopka

“Storm of Love” fans have known his character of the cook André Konopka for many years – now the actor Joachim Lätsch, 66, will turn his back on the role and the telenovela. The first signs of this were already in mid-February when it was announced that Laura Osswald, 40, would make her debut on “Sturm der Liebe” – as a chef to replace André, who wants to open a new restaurant in South Africa. At this point, however, it was still unclear whether his absence would be of a temporary nature or whether the chef was planning to start a new life away from the royal court.

Now his departure is official: As the actor revealed to the “Bild” newspaper, he had long thought about his departure and discussed it with his family. “I really had a great time, was employed at Bavaria Studios, shot every day and earned well,” says Lätsch in an interview. After almost 16 years, he wants to try new roles, and a job as a director is also conceivable for him. Actress Laura Osswald is expected to follow in André’s culinary footsteps on Friday, April 14th.
