Design, colors… Snapshots of the Galaxy S23 and S23 Ultra have leaked on the web

Fans of the Galaxy S range only have a few more weeks to wait to discover Samsung’s new premium smartphones. And if the South Korean is expected at the turn on the performance and the photo, we already know that there will be no major changes in terms of design.

Renders have leaked before, but the ones we’re talking about today (published on the fmkorea site) appear to be aimed at the press and retail outlets. We discover the entire range, made up of the Galaxy S23, S23 + and S23 Ultra.

If these shots are indeed authentic, the main element that distinguishes the two “standard” models is located on the back of the devices (S23 and S23+). Samsung would have indeed decided to part with the photo block which had become its business card.

The three sensors would still be placed vertically (with an LED flash placed on the right), but now individually highlighted in relation to the rest of the rear face. This means that these protrusions will always prevent the device from laying perfectly flat.

An increasingly unified range

A choice that is not really surprising since it was already the design observed on the Galaxy S22 Ultra. We imagine that the brand wanted to unify the look of its range as much as possible, to underline the coherence of the three models.

The photos of the Ultra version show a smartphone almost identical to its predecessor, with sensors positioned in the same way and a slightly more massive look than the S23 / S23 +.

Unlike the previous generation, Samsung would have chosen to offer the same four colors for all its smartphones. This time it will be possible to choose between matte black, forest green, lilac and off-white. However, the firm may reserve exclusive colors for purchases on its official website.
