Desired crime scene: the audience choose "Mord auf Langeoog" in the program

The desired crime thriller on Sunday is "Tatort: Mord auf Langeoog". Inspector Falke actually only visits friends, but then a murder happens …

"Tatort: Mord auf Langeoog" (2013) with Inspector Thorsten Falke (Wotan Wilke Möhring, 53) and his former colleague Katharina Lorenz (Petra Schmidt-Schaller, 39) is the penultimate winner of the summer break voting. At the request of the audience, the thriller will be repeated on Sunday (23 August) at 8.15 p.m.

That's what the "Tatort: Murder on Langeoog" is about

A brutal murder shakes the idyll of the small North Sea island of Langeoog: a dead woman in the dunes, next to her a distraught, bloodied teenager. Florian (Leonard Carow) is the younger brother of Mimi (Laura Tonke), who moved to her East Frisian homeland together with Inspector Falke's old friend and ex-colleague Jan (Sebastian Schipper) and their baby.

Falke, who actually only wanted to relax on the island for a few days, manages to talk to the confused boy at the crime scene. Is Florian a perpetrator or a victim? For the responsible colleagues of the Aurich homicide squad and their head Christine Brandner (Nina Kunzendorf), however, the case is clear …

Is it worth switching on?

Yes. Because the case deals with a topic that has still not reached society: How do we deal with psychologically unstable fellow human beings, or with the insecurity and fear that their behavior triggers in us? So far there have been those who have had to deal with it more or less voluntarily because someone in the family is affected, and those who may have read about it in the newspaper. Another, no less dramatic topic: knockout drops!

Falke and Lorenz ("Tatort" commissioner from 2013 to 2015) got over their bumpy start in their second case and this time even landed in bed. But they are also cool to look at during the investigation, because the outfitters have incorporated a lot of Nordic chic: leather jackets, Parkers, Norwegian sweaters as far as the eye can see.

Speaking of which, the landscape on the island in the Wadden Sea is not only incredibly beautiful, it also offers plenty of space for eerie encounters. On the other hand, many should be happy to see actress Nina Kunzendorf again in a commissioner role. From 2011 to 2013 she investigated Conny Mey in the Frankfurt "crime scenes" as commissioner.

Wish repetitions for the 50th anniversary

After the broadcast on Sunday, the remaining thrillers are available for voting for the last time. You can only vote online. The last desired "crime scene" repetition during the summer break and on the occasion of the 50th anniversary runs on August 30th. The first new broadcast is due for September 6th. The inspectors Moritz Eisner (Harald Krassnitzer) and Bibi Fellner (Adele Neuhauser) then determine in the Austro crime thriller "Pumps".
