This week, Aldi has a cheap laptop from HP. With a 17.3-inch display and number pad, the notebook is a good replacement for a desktop PC.

Aldi’s online shop currently has an inexpensive HP notebook with Windows 11. Thanks to the 17.3-inch display (1,600 x 900 pixels) and a keyboard including a numeric keypad, the device is particularly suitable for stationary use and as a replacement for a classic desktop PC.
HP uses an AMD Ryzen 3 processor, which is supported by eight gigabytes of RAM. The internal SSD storage holds 512 gigabytes. Other features include WiFi 5, Bluetooth, a front camera with HD resolution and two speakers. On the connection side, there are three USB ports, HDMI and a headphone output. At 2.07 kilograms, the device is not a lightweight.
The overall package is decent: for the price of 400 euros you get a laptop that is particularly suitable for home use due to its size and weight. The features are basic for the price, but sufficient for office work, internet, emails or streaming. Small games are also possible, but demanding video or photo editing is not.
