Solideo, the establishment which manages the Olympic works, considers that the difficulties are under control.
Thirty months and one day to January 25. This is the time that separates us from the opening ceremony of the Paris Olympic Games in 2024. This countdown, the teams of Solideo, the public establishment which manages the construction of all the Olympic structures, have always in the lead. The delivery of the 62 pieces of equipment cannot bear any delay. “We are on schedule”, welcomed this Tuesday Nicolas Ferrand, executive director of Solideo.
The year 2021 was that of the effective launch of the works. “The construction of 38 structures has been started, specifies the leader of Solideo. And, today, 300 companions work on the construction sites.” The activity will accelerate in 2022. “At the end of the year, 58 structures will actually be under construction and 8,000 workers will be working there.” Nicolas Ferrand believes that “5% of carpenters and masons in Île-de-France will work on the sites of the Olympic structures this year”.
