CNN: US arms arrived in Ukraine

Russia recently warned several Western countries against arms deliveries to Ukraine. The USA is apparently unimpressed. According to one report, they are again supplying arms and ammunition to Ukraine. Above all, they should serve one purpose.
The first parts of the latest support package of arms and ammunition from the US have arrived in Ukraine. The TV station reports CNN at night, citing a White House official. Washington promised Kyiv additional weapons and ammunition worth up to $800 million (€740 million) on Wednesday, including artillery, armored vehicles and helicopters.
The new deliveries are intended to support Ukraine, especially in view of the feared large-scale Russian attack in the eastern Donbass region. The US government has already pledged or delivered weapons worth US$ 2.5 billion to Ukraine since the Russian war of aggression began in late February. Since the beginning of last year, US aid for Kyiv has totaled around $3.2 billion.
Russia recently sent protest notes to several Western countries, including the United States, over arms deliveries to Ukraine. According to the US daily Washington Post, Moscow warned in the letter that such deliveries could have “unpredictable consequences”. Since the beginning of the Russian war of aggression, Ukraine has received arms from many countries.
