Famous for Alba: a wildlife adventure and especially the Monument Valley, ustwo games has made a name for itself on original and relaxing experiences. There will still be a bit of that as part of his new game revealed during the live Day of the Devs from Summer Game Fest, Desta: The Memories Between.
It will be a roguelike character-driven narrative that will explore themes of broken relationships, the unsaid and exploring one’s dreams. the heroine Desta will visit the mysterious world ofInfinite Dream night after night, filled with luminous orbs and fragmented remnants symbolizing his past and his unfinished relationships. The parties will take the form of turn-based tactical bullet battleswhere we will have to make shots that will vary and evolve over our sums. Desta will encounter voice-over characters with exceptional abilities on its surreal journey, touted as unique and replayable.
The concept is as confusing as it is interesting, and will be playable from the first quarter of 2023 on PC via Steam.
