We’re only halfway through though.Year 5 of Destiny 2placed under the sign of The Witch Queenbut Bungie announced last month to hold a presentation for its next expansion this Tuesday, August 23, when we will also enter the Season 18which will therefore succeed the Season of Torment. Let’s hope that the new activities come to re-motivate the troops after making us play reaper on the Leviathan. The big piece will therefore be the revelation of the first details concerning Eclipse (Lightfall)the penultimate DLCs from the saga of the Light and Darkness, The Final Form having since been added and announced at last year’s show around the same time. Where will this future content, which should be released in early 2023, take us? What is certain is that the Witness and his followers should play a central role. It is moreover the voice of the latter that we hear in the teaser video broadcast, resuming his speech from the final cinematic of The Witch Queen.

Otherwise, know that the Season 18 will complete the overhaul of Doctrines bright with the cryo-electric 3.0, than an old Raid will make its return and that the Festival of the lost souls will come again to celebrate Halloween at the Round. Here are the dates to remember:
- Raid – Launching Friday, August 26;
- Iron Banner – September 6-13, then November 15-22 with Eruption mode (a variant of Shock);
- Judgment of Osiris – Every weekend from September 16 (except those in Banner);
- Black Night Grand Master – Tuesday, October 4;
- Festival of the Lost Souls 2022 – Launching October 18.
Will we get a taste of the Season 19 in stride? Finally, we can expect a second Doctrine of the Darkness succeeding the Stasis be presented and a collaboration with Fortnite is rumored to be on the way… It should therefore be unveiled on this proven occasion.
