Detective Pikachu 2 may not be a secret, everyone wonders if the project is still alive or not, given that The Pokemon Company hasn’t talked about it for ages. Earlier this year, hope was rekindled by an employee indicating that he was still working on the game, and today we are presented with a similar case. Nintendo Life spotted the LinkedIn page of a certain Jonathan MurphySenior Programmer Division at Creatures Inc for 5 years, who mentions the game in their profile.
An exit closer than expected?
On the latter’s page, we can see that he is indeed working Detective Pikachu 2still planned for Nintendo Switch, but also and above all that the game would be close to its release:

Note therefore that not only Detective Pikachu 2 is still alive and well, but above all that it could be released very soon. We are not necessarily talking about days or weeks, and we will probably even have to wait until 2023, but we should perhaps see it during a next Pokémon Presents or Nintendo Direct, who knows.
