If the sequel to Detective Pikachu in the cinema should not take place, the franchise should continue well in the field of video games. It’s not a secret, The Pokemon Company announced a sequel to Detective Pikachu on Nintendo 3DS for the Switch in May 2019, but the project has not been publicly discussed since (just like the project Pokemon Sleep Besides).
Good news, it is not buried, and its development is still active. Creatures Incorporatedwho was in charge of the first part released in 2016 and is also in charge of the second, published in recent days a series of interviews with its key creators. Many of them say happy to be “currently involved in the Detective Pikachu sequel project”. Which means that, you will understand, the game is still relevant!
We now look forward to knowing what it will look like, and how it will advance the scenario still open at the end of the adventure on 3DS. (currently available from €38.85 on Amazon.co.uk).
