Detroit: Become Human surpasses 8 million sales

Latest game as of Quantic Dreamwell known for The Nomad Soul, Fahrenheit, heavy rain or Beyond: Two Souls, Detroit: Become Human As a reminder, it was released in 2018 on PlayStation 4 and then the following year on PC. The title had six million copies sold in July 2021, and this figure has since evolved quite a bit.

The French studio announces today that Detroit: Become Human has sold over eight million copies, on computers and PS4. On PC alone, the title has attracted 2.5 million players, and Quantic Dream clarifies that these figures do not yet take into account copies distributed by subscription services. Guillaume de Fondaumière, Deputy CEO of Quantic Dreamcomments:

2022 has been a remarkable year for Quantic Dream in every way. In particular, it enabled us to achieve a significant increase in sales of our three historic PC games compared to 2021. This unusual increase confirms the already excellent results recorded over the previous three years. The continued success of Detroit: Become Human, but also of Heavy Rain and Beyond: Two Souls, is to be credited to the quality of these titles, their appeal on PC, as well as the conscientious and long-term work of our editorial teams. We are delighted to introduce our works to an ever larger and younger audience, and on all continents. At the end of 2022, we are also seeing a record level of Wishlist for these three titles, which gives us a glimpse of an equally exceptional year in 2023.
