While we recently learned of the cancellation of an upcoming Deus Ex because of Embracer, Epic Games is highlighting the series. Deus Ex: Mankind Divided is offered on EGS from March 14 to 21. Role-playing, infiltration, action and adventure game, its cyberpunk universe fascinates as much as it worries. And in such a palpable climate of tension, a shadowy agent stands up against a group that wants to control the world.
At the dawn of the year 2029, while they were until then tolerated, augmented humans become real pariahs. Adam Jensen, an undercover agent with a heavily modified body, wants to fight for his fellow men. But he must face a global conspiracy led by none other than the Illuminati. Hiding in the shadows to control humanity and impose his vision of the world, Adam’s fight will be fought on all fronts.
Before being an action and infiltration game, Deus Ex: Mankind Divided is a narrative game. Despite a very dark futuristic context, he denounces many current abuses.
