Lucy Mecklenbrugh and Ryan Thomas reflected on their first encounter as they shared the first photo they ever took as a couple from 2017.
The couple, who are now set to get married and welcomed their son Roman into the world last month, met after both appearing on Celebrity Island with Bear Grylls in 2017.
Lucy, 28, took to Instagram to share the adorable snap as they cosied up in bed after the show came to an end three years ago.

Tucking into junk food, the pair look smitten as they smile for a photo.
Lucy wrote alongside the image: “May 2017 just completed Bear Grylls The Island. We just sat up all night eating.”
The post comes after Lucy took to her Instagram story to share a video of herself feeding her son while celebrating his one month birthday.

Alongside the snap, Lucy wrote: “Birthday breakfast. Can’t believe my little man is 1 month old!!!!”
After receiving praise for the sweet photo, Lucy hit out at anyone who chooses to criticise breastfeeding, branding them “vile”.
She wrote in a separate post: “So many message thanking me for being so open about breastfeeding. In shock how many of u got abuse for breast feeding in public!

“With the current situation I haven’t been able to even do that but can’t imagine why anyone would have anything negative to say to a woman simply trying to feed her baby! Who are these vile people!?!
“Would u rather a hungry screaming baby!?”
Ryan and Lucy recently offered to help new mums during the coronavirus lockdown with finding essential baby items.
The new mum wrote: “If you have a baby due or a newborn and struggling to get essentials such as nappies, wipes, baby grows of formula.
“Please DM Me or Ryan with what you need & your full address. We are ordering online or posting bits we have spare.”
Lucy then revealed she and Ryan are struggling themselves trying to find baby grows for their son.
“We are working our way through your messages. Sent lots of nappies & wipes out so far..,” she wrote.
“The main thing we are struggling to find is newborn baby grows. Does anyone know companies that have these in stock?”
