Spider-Man 3 Art Imagines Daredevil & Punisher Joining the Marvel Sequel

New Spider-Man 3 fan art imagines Netflix characters like Daredevil, Kingpin, and the Punisher joining Peter Parker in the MCU sequel.

New Spider-Man 3 art imagines Netflix characters like Daredevil and Punisher joining the MCU sequel. Tom Holland’s third solo outing as Peter Parker, aka Spider-Man, is on track to arrive later this year, with production currently underway. Plot details are still being kept under wraps, though recent set photos have confirmed at least a portion of Spider-Man 3 will take place around Christmas. It also looks like the film will dive into the Marvel multiverse, as several actors from past Spider-Man movies will reportedly appear alongside Holland. Fans have been abuzz with excitement over the story possibilities.

With a supporting cast that evidently includes Tobey Maguire, Andrew Garfield, and Benedict Cumberbatch, Spider-Man 3 already feels pretty packed. Yet, recent reports have also indicated Charlie Cox could appear in the film as Daredevil. Cox played the vigilante in three seasons of the Netflix series Daredevil, and ever since its cancellation, fans have campaigned for a revival of sorts. Though Cox’s potential involvement with Spider-Man 3 remains shrouded in mystery, fans are thrilled at the prospect of him joining the project.

Spider-Man 3 fan poster takes things a step further and gives the MCU flick a supporting cast stacked with Daredevil alums. Created by artoftimetravel, the piece turns the movie into Spider-Man and Daredevil and puts the two heroes side by side. Additionally, it includes characters like Karen Page, the Punisher, and Wilson Fisk, aka Kingpin. In short, this is a major Spider-Man/Daredevil crossover. Check it out down below.

Marvel has yet to officially comment on whether Cox’s Daredevil will be in Spider-Man 3, though it was reported recently that Cox has wrapped filming on the project. It seems like any potential confirmation won’t come for some time, particularly since Spider-Man 3 won’t be released until December. Including Daredevil would be a fun development for the film, particularly when one pictures him interacting with Peter somehow. The previous Spidey movie, Spider-Man: Far From Home, left Peter in a precarious place as he was framed for murder and unmasked to the entire world, and many have pointed out he might need a lawyer. Enter: Matt Murdock.

Daredevil’s potential Spider-Man 3 role has inspired numerous fan works imagining him in the MCU movie, showing just how much fans would like to see him appear. At this point, it will be disappointing if he doesn’t. However, if the online reports are to be believed, fans will see Daredevil’s first MCU movie role by the end of the year. Whether others from the show could join him remains to be seen, though nothing has been reported just yet. So when it comes to those like the Punisher, fans might have to wait a bit longer to see him again.
