Development of Haunted Chocolatier put on hold in favor of Stardew Valley

Unveiled in October 2021, Haunted Chocolatier will see its development suspended for a while. A temporary break which is necessary for its creator Eric Barone. The latter indeed needs time to devote himself to the latest update of Stardew Valley.

This 1.6 update, announced since the summer of last year, will see the arrival of new content for the game. It will also include more tools and resources for modders. However, it should not be on the same scale as 1.5 which was the last major content update in 2021.

Haunted Chocolatier will therefore wait a little longer before seeing its development resume. As a reminder, the title should emphasize the fight unlike its predecessor. And rather than focusing on farming, players will be tasked with making chocolate. As in Stardew, expect to meet many NPCs to build relationships with. And concerning the place of residence of our protagonist, it should be located in a small town on the water, with the presence of quays.
