Devil May Cry 5 hits five million sales

Despite its great popularity, the franchise Devil May Cry does not unleash passions as much as resident Evil Where monster hunter. However, Capcom today welcomesa new level of sales reached for the latest opus to date, Devil May Cry 5originally released on PC, PS4, and Xbox One just over three years ago.

Devil May Cry 5 thus has 5 million copies sold. Capcom does not go into details, but specifies that the sales of the Special Edition on PS5 and Xbox Series X|S are included in this big number. As a reminder, the game already had 4.7 million copies sold last November.

Admittedly, we are far from the 17.8 million Monster Hunter: World or the 10.6 million Resident Evil 7: Biohazardbut Devil May Cry 5 shows that it remains a solid opus, at the gates of the Top 10 Platinum Titles of Capcom. If you don’t have the game yet, you can find it with the Vergil DLC to €14.99 on Gamesplanet.
