Dewy Glow: From the runway to our face

If you think now that you couldn't wear runway looks in everyday life – you can. Because not every trend from the catwalk has to be dramatic, extravagant and abstract. On the contrary, we wear the dewy glow at home too. We saw the trend at fashion shows from Fendi and Co. and we also see it everywhere on Instagram.

After everyone had worn the all-over glow up and down, we took a highlighter break for the first time last year. Now we're really getting started again. This is how you make up the dewy Glow for everyday use:

Dewy Glow – this is how you make up the trend in everyday life

The key to a wet look are natural makeup products that contain a natural glow – but NO glitter. It starts with the primer and ends with the blush. Also use as little product (amount) as possible for the base. This is also done in photo shoots to make the skin texture look as natural as possible.

The fact that classic powder products are a no-go for the dewy glow is probably self-explanatory. That means: The bronzer should also be liquid or creamy. So you can work it perfectly into the foundation and the result looks very natural. So that the whole thing still holds up well, you apply a powder bronzer with a shimmer, so that the glow effect is intensified. When it comes to blush, you can also use a shimmer shade that makes the skin look even fresher.

A liquid or creamy highlighter can also be applied over powder blanks and bronzers without any problems. This is best done with the finger to properly incorporate the product. This is the only way to get the ultimate natural glow! You only use a classic setting powder in the T-zone and under the eyes. The same applies here: as little as possible. A loose powder usually looks more natural and does not mattify as much. It is best to apply the powder at the end so as not to dull the remaining glow on your face again.

Pro tip: The dewy glow can also be found on the eyes. Here it is enough if you simply spread a shimmer shade with your finger over the entire lid. If you want, you can add some brown eyeshadow or bronzer to the crease of the eyelid (but this is not a must).
