  • DHL shipping prices will increase from July.
  • Online labels in particular will become more expensive in the future.
  • Parcels sent abroad are also experiencing a price increase.

DHL is the largest parcel service in Germany and many use the service regularly. In the future, however, this will probably become a little more expensive, since the service provider would like to increase the prices of the package brands. In particular, users of online franking will feel this, as the prices there are mainly adjusted to those of the branches. The brands on the Internet were a little cheaper to date.

These changes are in the prices

In addition, there is also a price increase for parcels in sizes S and M to 3.99 euros and 4.79 euros. The 2 kilo package, which is only available online, has increased from EUR 4.99 to EUR 5.49.

At least there is a price reduction, namely for the M package with up to 5 kilos. This variant now costs 6.99 euros in the shop instead of 7.49 euros. On the Internet, however, the brand costs one euro more. There are no price changes for packages up to 10 kilos and 31.5 kilos.

Why are prices rising?

According to the manufacturer, the elimination of the online advantage should reduce complexity and make prices clearer for customers, DHL said in a press release. Other reasons for the rising prices are also higher transport and labor costs and other cost increases. This includes, for example, higher spending on diesel and petrol.
