  • There are now Terror Zones in the PTR.
  • They offer stronger monsters and rewards.

Blizzard wants to make the repeated farming of monsters in Diablo 2 Resurrected a little more varied and has introduced new “terror zones” on the Public Test Realm (“PTR”).

Players can choose whether or not their game should feature Terror Zones. If they are activated, one zone in the game will be hit particularly hard by the minions of hell every hour. The monsters there have a higher level than the player or the normal monster version in that region. For fans, stronger opponents also mean that they can get better rewards (“loot”).

On all difficulties, the base versions of the monsters in these zones are increased by 2 levels, champions are increased by 4 levels, and uniques are increased by 5 levels.
