Diablo 3: Season 26 Start Date & Patch 2.7.3 – The Fall of the Nephalem

After a 4 month long Season 25, the Patch 2.7.3 and Season 26 from Diablo 3 are coming. Here’official preview of Season 26, which is scheduled to start on Friday April 15, 2022 at 5 p.m.. the Patch 2.7.3 will be deployed on Tuesday, July 12.

On the menu, a new high-level game mode, new cosmetics, and balancing.

Season 26 Theme: Waking Nightmare

For the first time in Diablo 3 history, the seasonal theme will introduce an all-new game mode, called Awakening Nightmare. It is a test that is intended to be intense, with increasing difficulty. You will get an object, Petrified Cry on Greater Rift Guardians to transmute into Kanai’s Cube. This will open a portal to the Heart of Nightmares to explore in which a Nephalem died. Great rewards are in store for players who manage to survive this ordeal long enough.

Diablo 3

  • Petrified Screams and Waking Nightmare are only available to Season Characters.
  • In a multiplayer game, only one Petrified Scream transmutation is needed to open an Awakened Nightmare.
  • All members of a multiplayer game must accept the invite to enter.
  • In Awakening Nightmare, the difficulty increases based on the progress of the players in the fight. The faster they defeat the monsters, the faster their progress will be, and the better the rewards.
  • Completing an Awakened Nightmare will allow you to receive the following rewards: experience, legendary items, blood crystals, gems and a new legendary gem, Whisper of Atonement.
  • Whisper of Atonement is a legendary gem used exclusively to enhance ancient legendary items. Its level will be determined based on the performance achieved in the Awakened Nightmare.

Season 26: Ornamental Items

Like every season, you will get 2 pieces of the transmog set distributed for many years, which is always good for new players. A series of portraits and a banner from Season 17 return for those who missed them. It will be necessary to validate the chapter 4 of the Journey to obtain them.

Season 26: Seasonal Conquests

Here is the list of Season 26 Conquests. If you have been playing for a long time, you will have to get used to the idea that the developers have no intention of introducing any new ones. As always, you have to validate 3 to finish the Journey.

  • Upgrade 3 legendary gems to level 65.
  • Complete a Greater Rift 55 solo with 6 different legendary sets from the list.
  • Complete a Nephalem Rift to max level in Torment X in under 2 minutes.
  • Complete a level 75 Greater Rift solo.
  • Earn a 50,000,000 gold harvest streak outside of the Jackpot.

Season 26: Haedrig’s Gift – Legendary Sets

The seasonal Legendary Set rotation is still in its normal cycle, with older sets not always being very popular or performing well. They were entitled to balancing in previous patches. So there is bad, good and correct.
