Thanks to a beta, you can soon play Diablo 4 and test the endgame. However, you must meet a few requirements to participate.
- A closed beta of Diablo 4 will start soon.
- You can increase your chances of participating by taking certain steps.
Blizzard has revealed that Diablo 4 will be released in 2023 and before that there are test phases, soon in the form of a closed beta on PS4, Xbox One, PS5, Xbox Series X and PC.
This “closed beta” will feature content that players dive into after completing the campaign, called the “endgame.” New modes include Helltide, Nightmare Dungeons, Whispers of the Dead, Fields of Hatred, and Paragon Boards.
How to get a beta invite
You can’t sign up for the beta directly, as Blizzard will be sending out invites with more information to select players who have played a lot of Diablo 2 Resurrected, Diablo 3, and Diablo Immortal. Interested parties should also have activated the function to receive news from Blizzard. You can check this with the following steps:
- Opens Battle.net on the web or the Battle.net launcher
- Click on your account name in the top right corner
- “Account Settings” or “View Account”
- “Privacy Communication”
- “Communication Preferences”
- “update”
- Check that “News and Special Offers from Battle.net” is enabled
This condition must be met by October 11, 2022. According to Blizzard, if you do not receive an invitation by November 18, 2022, you will not be able to participate in the beta.
But if you don’t get approved, that shouldn’t matter, as Blizzard announces further test phases for the beginning of 2023.
