Diablo 4: reached level 50? This is how you start the endgame

Once you’ve completed Diablo 4, you should be around level 50. By completing the campaign, you will unlock new activities and opportunities to find even better items and become even stronger:

• death whispers
• Nightmare Difficulty and Nightmare Dungeons
• hell flood
• world bosses
• Gathered Legions
• Final dungeon
• Paragon

First, go to the Whispering Tree to find the events “death whispers” to start. It should start in Caldeum. There you collect monster souls and get “Ghastly Gifts”. If you have ten of them, you get good loot from the tree.

Dead Whisper can be worthwhile if you’re looking for even more legendary items in Diablo 4. However, this employment should not be your main goal, because it becomes more lucrative elsewhere.

Visit nightmare dungeons

Make sure you’re playing at World Tier 2 and travel to Kyovashad to the Cathedral of Light. You can see there that a dungeon has appeared here. Complete it and you’ll unlock Nightmare difficulty.

However, the dungeon alone is not that easy. You make this task easier for yourself by going out in a group.

Now you can get Nightmare Seals and “Nightmare Dungeons“. If you’re lucky, you’ll get an item from the “Holy Item” category on Nightmare, which can be particularly strong.

The Nightmare Sigils should drop slain enemies after a while while playing at world level 3. You then open a nightmare dungeon from your inventory by activating the seal. All you have to do is travel to the marked location and you can complete the dungeon. As a reward, there is usually a seal again, so that you can visit enough nightmare dungeons from now on.

Only fight world bosses well prepared

After completing the campaign, there is also the event “hell flood” at world level 3 and the quite imposing ones world bosses. However, you should approach the latter with very good equipment and ideally in a group. It’s going to be a challenge.

We find Nightmare Dungeons and World Bosses to be more worthwhile than Infernal Tide, Legions Assembled (timed event with hordes of enemies), and Whispers of the Dead. There just seems to be better loot out there. An online ticker even reveals when the world bosses will appear in Diablo 4.

For characters from level 70 there is another final dungeon, which is marked on the map. If you already have an enormously strong character, you can go there.

Paragon board

At level 50 you will also unlock the Paragon board. At first it doesn’t do you much good because you don’t have many paragon points yet. So you don’t have to worry so much about it for now. You can spend the first points as you wish and receive a few small improvements.

Don’t forget to upgrade your best glyphs when you complete a Nightmare dungeon. Then you will get even better.
