Diablo Immortal announces the opening of iOS pre-registrations… and a tentative date

Planned for a long time on the side of Blizzard, the studio had let the storm of accusations against Bobby Kotick and his teams pass, then the takeover by Microsoft, to say more about this mobile license porting project. From now on, the publisher announces news for his game and in particular the opening of pre-registration on iOS and iPadOS, announcing a goal of 30 million before offering rewards for everyone.

We have set a goal of reaching 30 million pre-registrations/pre-purchases across iOS, iPadOS and Android before the game launches later this year. If we achieve this goal, we will have awesome ornamental rewards for everyone when the game is released!

Blizzard also adds in a press release that the pre-registration pages mentioned the date of June 30thwhich should not be taken into account, the latter was not yet formalized.

We would like to point out that this is not not of the official launch date of Diablo Immortal, but just a tentative date, while we finalize our plans. We will let the community know the official launch date later.

Finally, a blog post tells a bit more about the gameplay of the game, since it discusses in detail ornamental elements to customize and equip in Diablo Immortalas well as the new feature to allow players to change class without having to recreate a character.

As a reminder, the free to play MMORPG is scheduled for 2022 on iOS and Android.
