Diablo Immortal: Vitaath is available, but mostly for whales

The Codex has been taunting Diablo Immortal players for weeks, asking them to kill Vitaath. But this boss, although present on the closed beta of the game, was not available at the exit. As announced by Blizzard, a boss is added to the Infernal Reliquary every month, and Vitaath made its debut on July 1. However, the disappointment proved to be great for quite a few players, especially those who did not use real money in the store to obtain more Legendary Gems to boost their Combat Rating and Resonance.

A delusional combat score requested for Vitaath

Defeating the third version of Lassal had taken players quite a bit of time, with a recommended Combat Score of 1640, which was far from easy to achieve without purchasing Legendary Emblems. The progression is even more abrupt with this second boss, since its very first version advises a 2000 battle score to players. His second version advises 2450, and the third, a whopping 3465 Combat Score.

Even taking into account the increase in Paragon levels on the server, and the fact that players will start arriving in Hell Mode 3 with higher quality gear, getting close to 2000 Combat Score is still difficult. . However, it is possible to kill the boss with a Combat Score slightly below the requirement by playing well. The second version will probably ask you to play with several whales and dolphins in your Assault, if you want to kill Vitaath this week and in the coming weeks.

The annoying point is the third version, with a Required combat score that increases by more than 1000 at oncefor a total of 3465. The message is quite clear in this case, this version of the boss is aimed at players who have spent very large sums in the game, since it takes high quality and high level Legendary Gems to achieve such a score. This can be seen as one more incentive to spend unreasonable sums in the shop. It is to be expected that it will take several months at least before F2P players can reach such a scoreand it could well be even longer, given the terribly slow rate at which it is possible to obtain Legendary Gems without paying.

After defeating Lassal, the second boss of the Infernal Reliquary is Vitaah. But there are several requirements that need to be met before participating in this second Diablo Immortal Assault clash, including a massive combat score requirement. We break it all down in this guide.

Towards a third reliquary boss only reserved for whales?

If Blizzard continues in this direction, it could mean that the third boss of the Infernal Reliquary (which is unknown at the moment), which is scheduled to arrive on August 1st, will require more than 3465 Combat Score, just for its first release. It is also possible that the required score is much lower, and therefore more accessible, and that the third versions of the reliquary bosses are “reserved” for whales. As the studio remains silent for the moment, we will have to wait to verify these hypotheses.

But if this trend continues, F2P players will have to wait many months, even years, before facing the next bosses of the reliquary, since the inflation of the Combat Score seems to be much higher than what the players are able to get while playing normally.
