If you have never touched one hack’n slash, Microsoft offers us a little reminder of what Diablo IV and what he offers:

History and lore

If you’re new to Diablo, you can jump straight into the demonic world of Diablo IV without having played the previous titles. The story takes place several decades after the events of Diablo III and introduces new characters and storylines in the most sinister chapter of the Diablo universe yet. This is a full-fledged game that you can jump into straight away, illustrating how the world you’re going to save came to be. The game takes place in Sanctuary, a refuge built by members of the Burning Heavens and Hells to escape the incessant conflict, and you begin your journey wandering through a menacing frozen land. You quickly learn of the prophetic return of the demoness Lilith, the daughter of Mephisto who created Sanctuary alongside the Archangel Inarius. Consumed by hatred and vengeance, her desire to conquer and destroy Heaven and Hell puts all the inhabitants of Sanctuary in danger, as she gives rise to dark impulses in the hearts of demons and humans. It is up to you and a select few to oppose his plans and fight while keeping the fate of Sanctuary in the balance.

Gameplay

Now that you know a little more about Sanctuary, let’s talk about the gameplay. Diablo IV is an isometric role-playing game where you use abilities, powerful skills, and legendary gear to defend your land against snarling demons and otherworldly horrors. Throughout Sanctuary, you’ll delve into replayable, procedurally generated dungeons, while progressing through the story and obtaining more powerful items and materials for your adventurer. Your character roams the open world of Sanctuary, tackling the progression system in one of the five fantasy classes that define your experience: Barbarian, Druid, Necromancer, Rogue, or Wizard. Participate in world events, destroy fortresses, work together with other players to take on world bosses, or fight other players in the Fields of Hate in PvP. Join or create your own clan to form alliances with other players.

We offer you a little “Teach me” (in English) from Rod Fergusson, General Manager on the Diablo license, to explain how to play:

Choose your class

There are 5 classes to choose from in Diablo IV. Each has multiple skills and talents to suit your preferred playstyle.

  • Barbaric : the weapons master of Diablo IV. Dual-wield or wield massive two-handed weapons (with the ability to switch between them in the heat of battle) while getting closer to your enemies.
  • Druid : Transform into a werewolf or werebear to make your way through Sanctuary, while using the magic of your pets (each granting you specific benefits) to frighten everyone around you.
  • Necromancer : with this class, you will never have to travel alone. Use your arcane knowledge to summon your own group of skeletons and a golem who will fight monsters for you or with you.
  • Snape : If you can’t choose between ranged and melee combat, why not both? Move quickly into combat to stab fighters up close or shoot them with bows from afar.
  • Wizard : take advantage of fire to ignite your enemies (or freeze them or strike them down) using elemental magic.

If you’re new to Diablo IV, it’s recommended that you start by creating a character in the Seasonal Realm, but don’t check the “Skip Campaign” option – start by playing through Diablo IV’s story mode. Seasons are recurring, time-limited events with challenges, rewards, and gameplay changes. At the end of a season, your seasonal characters and their progression are converted to non-seasonal characters, so once you’ve completed story mode, you’ll be able to create a new character for season 4 which begins in May!

You are about to plunge into a world of chaos, monsters, equipment, and conflict between the High Heavens and the burning Underworld.

Choose your class, your play style and go looking for Lilith. See you in Hell, friends!

Diablo IV will be available from March 28 in the Game Passyou can find the subscription Ultimate at €14.99 on Amazon, Cdiscount And there Fnac.
