The plot will be led by vampire huntress Erys, played by actress-producer Gemma Chan (Eternals, Crazy Rich Asians). Indeed, the mysterious lord of the vampires has unleashed his haemophages on the lands of Sanctuary; for what purpose, no one knows, and it is up to us to discover its designs. The lady therefore comes to exterminate the pests. It turns out that our avatar will be able to acquire vampiric powers to fight fire with fire, but also defeat 5 new bosses end game unique whose we can refine the loot (Blizzard has yet to specify how).
Blood-ctuary
We’re in luck because Blizzard has decided to loosen up the reset between each season. Our Eternal and Seasonal characters could already keep their cartography and altars of Lilith, they will now keep their skill points, potion charges, paragon points and maximum obols. This should significantly smooth the transition into the Season of Blood. Also, Season 2 of Diablo IV will remove the gems from our inventory, preventing them from taking up a monster space for nothing, and will allow us to filter our chest to better find our way around in our gear. Finally, the elemental resistance system will be modified with a few other status effects, without further details for the moment.
Season 2 of Diablo IV will arrive on October 17 on all platforms.
