It wasn’t a big surprise, Diablo IV responded to the Game Awards with a trailer that makes you want to… kill some demon.

Blizzard took advantage of the platform offered by the ceremony to share some details about its expected hack’n slash, with, among other things, a release date, confirmed for June 6, 2023 on PC, PS4, PS5, Xbox One and Xbox Series X. |S.

The wait is going to be hellish

As expected, Diablo IV was treated to a superb trailer of which Blizzard has the secret on the occasion of the Game Awards. Much more meaningful than words, here it is presenting the Eternal Conflict between Heaven and Hell.

We can see the demon Lilith, who had already been presented as a major antagonist of the continuation of the franchise. We also find a veteran of the series, in the presence of the Angel Inarius. The fruit of their union is also at the origin of Sanctuary and of humanity. The two legendary characters of the universe will thus engage in a heartbreaking and titanic battle.

Unfortunately, apart from the release date, we haven’t learned much more than the information shared yesterday by Tom Henderson. At most, we know that pre-orders are already open, and that these will grant early access to an upcoming open beta session at an undetermined date.

Never mind, meet on June 6, 2023 to return to the world of Sanctuary and face the demonic forces led by Lilith and… Diablo himself?
