Diablo IV: Vessel of Hatred, the expansion with Mephisto dated, its sublime introductory cinematic shared

While Diablo IV is currently celebrating its first anniversary with some gifts and players were able to enjoy some great new features via the Season 4: Revitalized Loot, Blizzard finally gave us news of what fans are impatiently waiting for, namely the very first expansion of the hack’n slash which was revealed during BlizzCon 2023 last November. Diablo IV: Vessel of Hatred was therefore shown during the Xbox Games Showcasenot with gameplay or a presentation of its new products, but through its introductory cinematic, inevitably impeccable and which is a real eye-catcher.

So we find the young Neyrelle on a boat sailing in what appears to be a swamp in the region of Nahantuas she recites incantations while holding there Soul Stone in which is enclosed Mephisto following the events of the Diablo IV campaign. As she gradually loses control, her mother appears to her in a vision… except that it is obviously a trap on the part of the demon. The sequence that follows is gory to say the least, showing the dismembered body of Neyrelle inside the creature’s gigantic body. Even if it is not real, it has the merit of establishing the situation. When he “wakes up” from this terrible nightmare, the poor boatman is unfortunately no longer in this world.

In addition to this beautiful context, we learn above all that Diablo IV: Vessel of Hatred will be released on October 8, 2024 on PS5, PS4, Xbox Series X|S, Xbox One and PC.

Finally, game director Brent Gibson spoke on video to give us meet on July 18 to discover the new class of the Spiritborn.
