Diablo IV will feature significant post-launch content

During the Xbox and Bethesda Games Showcase, we got to see Diablo IV make a small appearanceconfirming the presence of the Necromancer Class (unsurprisingly), but also a release for 2023. Some details have, in the process, been shared by the developers, especially on post-launch content. The information will probably reassure part of the community, since Blizzard has explained that it will be substantial.

Rod Fergusson, general manager of the license, indeed wanted to clarify things, in particular following the release of Diablo Immortal and part of the content deemed pay-to-win. He explains that Diablo IV is a game ” full price “, designed for the major platforms, namely PC, PlayStation and Xbox, and that the studio is committed to providing consistent post-release content. This will include, of course, some cosmetics, but above all ” full story-driven expansions “.

These remarks should therefore please a part of the community, which will be able to count on new things, in order to prolong the adventure, without having the impression of redundancy.

Diablo IV will therefore arrive in 2023, normally, on PC, PS5 and Xbox Series, with cross-play. Note that you can already pre-register for a beta, which does not yet have a date.
