She is the new one in "Gute Zeiten, Bad Zeiten": At the beginning of March Diana Staehly (43) joins the RTL series and causes a big surprise when she shows up. The actress, who many fans know from the cult series "Stromberg", among other things, slips into the role of Melanie Evers, Tobias Evers' lost wife who was in a coma for eight years.

A particular challenge in preparing for her role was "miming a woman who hasn't spoken for eight years, hasn't moved on her own and also no longer knows who she is," explains Staehly in an RTL interview. "For this I had to research and rehearse exactly how I utter the first sounds, how to speak the first words and what excessive demands a person has to struggle with who has been 'on the other side' for so long." Finding yourself physically in the form of "unfitness" was also a challenge.
