Actress Diane Kruger, 47, attended the Kering Women In Motion Awards ceremony and the Cannes Film Festival Presidential Dinner as part of the Cannes Film Festival at Place de la Castre in Cannes, France on Sunday. On these occasions she appeared in a real eye-catcher outfit.

Blue costume with an unusual collar

The steel blue suit from the French brand Balenciaga, which has been part of the Kering Group since 2001, was particularly impressive because of its unusual cut. Instead of a classic collar, this thigh-length blazer featured a boat neckline with a plunging neckline. The shoulder area protruded beyond the real shoulders. In this way, a silhouette similar to 1980s shoulder pads was formed. The calf-length skirt had a side leg slit at the front that reached under the blazer.

The former model combined black pumps and sparkling silver hoop earrings. She had styled her hair back in a sleek side parting with a curl detail. The make-up was subtle.

Looking forward to Cannes

On her arrival in the southern French coastal town, Diane Kruger posted a backlit photo in a different, also unusually cut outfit a few hours before the two evening events. The native German and American by choice wrote about the Instagram post: “And so it begins.” Her partner, American actor Norman Reedus, 55, commented: “Grab her.” He signed his comment with “n & n”, which probably means Norman and their daughter Nova, who was born in 2018.

At a young age, Diane Kruger went to Paris and worked as a model. She eventually took acting lessons there and later ended up in Hollywood. In this respect, appointments and events in France will always have great importance for Diane Heidkrüger, as she was born.
