fun, news, tips… what else?

Visiting a university on Wednesday February 8, King Charles III was questioned by a student about his son, Prince Harry. A rather surprising exchange.

An explosive work. Browsing through the pages of Prince Harry’s memoir, titled Spare (The Alternate in French), the whole world was able to discover many aspects of the private life of the Duke of Sussex, who did not hesitate to open-heartedly indulging in the royal family. Even before the official release of the book, at the beginning of January, excerpts had leaked in the press, such as the one citing the terrible sentence that King Charles III had pronounced in front of Princess Diana after giving birth, or even the one who traced a violent altercation with Prince William. Meghan Markle’s husband also wrote in his autobiography that he and his brother had begged their father not to marry Camilla, now queen consort. After so many revelations, relations between the still active members of the British royal family and the Sussexes do not seem to have warmed up.

In this context, the last short sentence of King Charles III is surprising. While visiting the University of Stratford, east of London (United Kingdom), Wednesday February 8, the monarch met several students of the establishment. As reported BFM TVone of them then asked him a burning question: Can you bring Harry back? A question that had the gift of leaving Charles III perplexed.Who is that ? he then replied.

The laughter of Charles III

Did King Charles III want to avoid talking about his son, with whom he is in all likelihood at odds? Obviously, the situation is less incongruous than it seems: the sovereign would simply have misunderstood the student’s question. After realizing that his interlocutor was talking about Prince Harry, Charles III bursts out laughing. A way to cut the conversation short? In any case, the son of Queen Elizabeth II has, it seems, not answered the famous question…

A question which, however, becomes more and more important as the coronation of Charles IIIwhich will take place on May 6 next. Will Prince Harry and Meghan Markle attend? Asked about the subject during an interview with the British channel ITV News, on January 9, the father of Archie and Lilibet then replied: A lot can happen by then. The ball is in their court.”
