Launched with losses and clashes at the end of 2020, Cyberpunk 2077 is reborn from its ashes in version 2.0.

The RPG signed CD Projekt RED has just benefited from a first DLC worthy of the name (Phantom Liberty), the latter being accompanied by a new major update to the game. Cyberpunk 2077 migrates to version 2.0, with many changes and optimizations, so much so that it has never been so recommended to (re)start this excellent adventure (on Xbox Series, PS5 or PC).

Cyberpunk 2077lots of new things…

For a few days now, Xbox, PS5 and PC players have been invited to download the new (and very imposing) update 2.0 dedicated to Cyberpunk 2077. Not only does the latter prepare the ground for the extension Phantom Libertybut it also allows you to benefit from numerous fixes and other improvements, so much so that the developers recommend that all players start a new game.

We benefit in particular from a brand new police system, and we can now engage in armed combat while piloting a vehicle, shoot the tires of cars and motorcycles, benefit from a clear general improvement in enemy AI , without forgetting a total overhaul of the skill trees. But that’s not all, since around an abandoned church in Night City, players were also able to get their hands on a new arcade machine.

…and even a little retrogaming!

Indeed, if the original game already offers certain original mini-games through arcade terminals of the time, in version 2.0, Cyberpunk 2077 offers players a new game within the game: Arasaka Tower.

To get your hands on the latter, however, you will have to go to a very specific location on the map (see video above). Once there, simply stand in front of the terminal in question and start the game.

Arasaka Tower 3D is a tribute to certain FPS from the 90s by Id Software, namely Wolfenstein 3Dor DOOM. We find this characteristic visual style, but also the presence of Johnny Silverhand (played by Keanu Reeves) on screen, who will have to try to escape from a tower full of enemy guards, all in this deliciously atmospheric atmosphere. retro.

The game offers a total of 5 levels to complete, with even a few secret locations, for a total lifespan of around ten minutes. So you know what you have to do: firstly (re)launch Cyberpunk 2077then take advantage of this welcome little novelty to say the least.
