Season 6 of Better Call Saul, airing from April 18, 2022, marks the return of Walter White and Jesse Pinkman’s characters. This is the final season for the Breaking Bad spin-off series.
Broadcast between 2008 and 2013, breaking Bad is unquestionably one of the greatest series of the 21st century. Still very popular today thanks to Netflix, which broadcasts it on SVOD, breaking Bad made an impression on millions with its intense storytelling and brilliant character development, light years away from what other series were offering at the time. breaking Bad has also won 12 Emmy Awards, largely thanks to Bryan Cranston, the interpreter of the incredible Walter White.
Nine years after the end of the series, the most famous physics and chemistry teacher is about to make a comeback on the small screen. On Twitter, the official account of Better Call Saul announces the return of Walter White and Jesse Pinkman, the two star characters of the original series.

Launched in 2015, Better Call Saul was initially to follow the daily life of Saul Goodman, the crooked lawyer in the service of Walter White’s business in breaking Bad. After a very slow beginning, very focused on the universe of justice, the series took off roughly around its third season by reintroducing several emblematic characters from breaking Bad, including Gus Fring, the main antagonist of the series. At the end of Season 5, which concluded in 2020, all of the major characters in breaking Bad reappeared in Better Call Saul. All but two, Walter and Jesse.
If we can be surprised by the announcement of the official account of Better Call Saulwhile no image of Walter and Jesse appeared in the Season 6 trailer, it would be a lie to say we weren’t expecting this return. Better Call Saul has the advantage of telling the story of Saul Goodman in the past and in the future, which will allow him to easily bring back the two emblematic characters of breaking Bad in the light. It remains to be seen how. Better Call Saul has, for the moment, only very little abused the fan service. Let’s hope Walter and Jesse’s comeback isn’t rude.
From April 19, there will be a new episode of Better Call Saul on Netflix, until episode 7. The last six episodes will be broadcast from July 12, 2022. Why a separation into two parts? The producers of the series are probably playing on the schedule to make season 6 of Better Call Saul eligible for the 2022 Emmy, then the 2023 Emmy. The goal seems the same as when breaking Bad : Win all the trophies!
