The Variétés Club de France is organizing, in collaboration with the French Embassy in Guinea and local authorities, a solidarity gala match for the benefit of children with albinism on February 26 and 27 in Conakry. A new major solidarity action by the Variétés Club de France with the aim of raising funds and sun protection equipment.
The Variétés delegation will be made up of Didier Drogba, Robert Pirès, El-Hadji Diouf, Samir Nasri, Karembeu, Jessica Houara, Giresse, Rocheteau and Wilfrid Mbappé. The VCF’s opponent, the former Guinean glories, will be led in particular by Feindouno and Mansaré.
In parallel with this match, educational workshops on themes with personalities are planned:
– Visit to a school and meeting with children with albinism
– Exchanges and sharing of skills with young Guinean journalists and students
– Promotion of women’s football and the place of women in society
– Local football session with local children and educators
The Variétés Club de France of Jacques Vendroux, founded in 1971, has played nearly 2,500 matches in France and the world for the benefit of strong causes.
