Die Toten Hosen have launched a new T-shirt. All profits from this should benefit Ukraine.

Die Toten Hosen have launched a T-shirt for a good cause. All profits from the sale are to be donated to Ukraine. “We, too, are appalled by the Russian war of aggression in Ukraine,” it said on the website and in an Instagram post the band. In order to help those affected, the T-shirt in the Ukrainian national colors is now available for purchase. The band logo can be seen in blue on a black background, with the words “You’ll Never Walk Alone” and “Die Toten Hosen” written in a yellow circle around it. The shirt is available for both women and men.

“All profits after deducting production costs will be donated to the United Nations Refugee Agency to support refugees from Ukraine,” Die Toten Hosen let their fans know.

The song “You’ll Never Walk Alone” is best known as a football anthem. The Toten Hosen often play the hit at their concerts. Among other things, the text reads: “Go on, go on / With hope in your heart / And you will never walk alone.”

Statement against the war: “Show yourselves, it’s about peace”

At the end of February, the rockers already had in a statement on Instagram called for peace. “Human rights are never negotiable,” the musicians wrote. “War ONLY brings pain and despair for the innocent. Our thoughts are with the people of Ukraine. Stand up, go to rallies and demos. Show yourselves, this is about peace.” They also added: “This war is an attack on international law. We stand in solidarity with the people of Ukraine.”
