Dieter Bohlen talks Tacheles: The pop titan has spoken about the reasons for his end in “DSDS” and “Das Supertalent”.
For a long time, Dieter Bohlen (67, “Brother Louie”) kept a low profile on the real reasons for separating him and RTL. In a short video The 67-year-old only said last Saturday that he was planning big things. Now the pop titan has uploaded one of his famous videos to Instagram again and spoke in plain language about his end in “Deutschland sucht den Superstar” and “Das Supertalent”.
“No, it was never about the money. It wasn’t about that at all. No, I didn’t freak out. I wasn’t angry. Nothing at all”, Bohlen contradicts the rumorsthat have circulated through the media landscape in the last few weeks. Much more RTL wants to “simply go a new way”. The station wants to become more family-friendly, because a “revolutionary who always hits the shit a bit” like Bohlen himself “has no business”.
Bohlen does not want to bend
Bohlen could “understand well” the argument. He is just the way he is and he will always tell the truth. He couldn’t and doesn’t want to change that. On the contrary: “I will continue to optimize myself and be even more honest and more sayings [klopfen]”, explains the music producer before he says goodbye with a greeting to his fans.
After his departure from “Deutschland sucht den Superstar”, the jury member had taken sick leave. Entertainer Thomas Gottschalk (70) spontaneously stepped in for him at the semifinals last Saturday (March 27th), who completed the jury alongside Mike Singer (21, “Deja Vu”) and Maite Kelly (41).
