The start date for the series offshoot of “Mein Freund, das Ekel” is known: The series with Didi Hallervorden will run from 23 September.
Dieter Hallervorden (85) attracted around eight million viewers in front of the television in 2019 with his TV film “My friend, that disgust”. Even then it was announced that the hit movie would be turned into a series. Now it is clear: The series offshoot of “Mein Freund, das Ekel” will be on ZDF from September 23rd.
According to a press release by the broadcaster, a total of six episodes will be broadcast in double episodes on Thursdays at 8:15 pm. Dieter Hallervorden, Alwara Höfels (39), Julius Gabriel Göze, Latisha Kohrs and Lior Kudrjawizki are returning to their roles. Also on display are Ursela Monn, Horst Günter Marx, Thorsten Merten, Carmen-Maja Antoni, Johannes Hallervorden, Friederike Sipp and many more.
Didi Hallervorden in a crazy flat share
In the 88-minute TV film from 2019, Elfie (Monn) leaves her brother Olaf Hintz (Hallervorden) behind and goes on a world tour. Elfie has hired the lively Trixie (Kuntze) to look after Olaf, who is sitting in a wheelchair. Trixie and her children move in with Olaf, which he doesn’t like at all. Nevertheless they try to get along in the new “flat share”.
In the series offshoot, Elfie is now returning from her trip around the world and is suddenly at Olaf’s door. Quite unexpectedly, she wants to move in again with the esoteric Waldemar. Soon it crashes and Trixie moves out. Will the parties reconcile again?
