His love for his new wife makes him live longer
At the age of 88, actor Dieter Hallervorden surprised everyone at the Berlinale with his endurance on the dance floor. The entertainer reveals that his wife Christiane’s lust for life is the source of his own lust for life.
He recently danced the night away at the Berlinale, making even younger guests jealous. Dieter Hallervorden, 88, says in the current GALA what, besides early exercise, is his fountain of youth. “Thanks to my wife, I live longer than originally intended. She takes care of me and is a source of joy in life.” The entertainer (“Honey in the Head”) has been married to the stuntwoman Christiane Zander, 58, for the third time since 2022.
Dieter Hallervorden: His big dream is a trip to New Zealand
The couple particularly enjoys vacationing: “The world is so big, there is still so much to discover. I dream of a trip to New Zealand with my wife,” says Hallervorden, who owns the mini island “Costaérès” in Brittany. However, there is trouble there right now. Hallervorden to GALA: “A storm severely damaged the island.” And the insurance company is reluctant to cover the damage.
