Ana Girardot revealed in the pages of Paris Match magazine the difficulty for her husband to watch his latest feature film, “La maison”, directed by Anissa Bonnefont and in which she plays a prostitute.
In The HouseofAnissa Bonnefont, Ana Girardot plays Emma, a prostitute in a brothel in Berlin. An author, in reality, who prostitutes herself to write a book… or by “pretext “. The 1h30 feature film depicts the difficult environment of prostitution. For this role, Ana Girardot had to overcome. The daring sex scenes were a real challenge for the young woman. A sulphurous role that her husband had a hard time accepting. Indeed, in an interview with Paris Matchshe says she asked him for his agreement to make the film. “He accompanied me throughout this adventure”, she told the weekly published Thursday, November 10 on newsstands.
Her husband inquired at length about the original story, namely the book ofEmma Becker of the same name, released in 2019. In this book, she recounts her own experience in Germany, which won her the France Culture-Télérama 2019 student novel prize. Ana Girardot recount : “He read the script and Emma Becker’s book, then met Anissa. We discussed the scenes, saw the films. He was aware of the challenge!” A seasoned shoulder she needed to lean on. “Well! he just supported me. And sometimes I needed it. I have had strong doubts.
