Difficult recovery – man (22) thrown from dung cart in a crash

A serious accident at work occurred on Monday afternoon in the Vorarlberg municipality of Thüringerberg. A 22-year-old was busy spreading manure on a steep slope with his specialty agricultural vehicle when the vehicle began to slide and tumbled down the slope.

The man used the window day to do agricultural work in the Großwalsertal community of Thuringerberg. At around 3 p.m., the 22-year-old was busy spreading manure on a steep slope with the help of a special vehicle.

Suddenly the vehicle began to slide and fell, rolling over several times, down the slope of the meadow. In the course of the crash, the young man was thrown out of the vehicle – but luckily, according to initial information, he was not hit by his vehicle.

The vehicle involved in the accident finally came to a standstill again shortly before the edge of the forest. During a large-scale operation by the fire brigade, as well as by rescue and police, the driver was first supplied on site and then flown to the hospital by the alarmed emergency doctor’s helicopter Christophorus 8.
