Digimon World: Next Order, Switch and PC versions of the PlayStation game announced and dated, “multiple Digimon projects” in development

Games Digimon have been on the coast again for a few years and Digimon World: Next Order is there for something. Released in 2016 on PlayStation Vita then in 2017 on PS4, the title could never have been talked about again, especially after the release of Digimon Survive (available from €44.99 on Amazon.co.uk).

Yet the RPG of collection inviting us to raise and train two partners Digimon simultaneously will be well talked about again in a few months, thanks to a port on PC and Switch signed HYDE. Digimon World: Next Order release date set for February 22, 2023 on these new platforms.

Published for the first time in 2017, the game invites you to embody a hero responsible for rebuilding a Virtual World plunged into chaos. To help you with this task, you will be able to find and recruit over 200 Digimon that you will need to nurture, train and bond with. The player-developed city of Floatia will be your rallying point: here you can recruit Digimon, upgrade buildings, grow crops, and expand it into a sprawling megacity.

And if you’re hoping for something new for the series, good news: producer Kazumasa Habu has confirmed that there are currently “several Digimon projects” in the works at bandai namco ! Digital monsters are therefore not going to disappear from our consoles anytime soon.
